Chao Chao culinary vision is shaped by the international acclaimed Chef Tong Chee Hwee.
After refining his culinary skills in Malaysia and Singapore, Chef Tong rose to prominence in London’s dining scene when renowed restauranteur Alan Yau invited him to lead the kitchen at the newly launched Hakkasan. His talent earned him multiple accolades, including Michelin stars, two AA Rosettes, the esteemed London Chef of the Year title, and the Craft Guild of Chefs Award in 2017.
Chef Tong draws on his extensive expertise to craft the menu at Chao Chao, continuing his mission to reimagine Chinese cuisine by blending traditional flavours and techniques with a bold, contemporary twist.
